Also, Dad is a huge fan of Paneer Tikka and I remember whenever he used to take us out for dinner as kids, A Paneer Tikka has to be ordered before anything else, and now Paneer Tikka is made in our house every now and then. Paneer Tikka is one of the most popular Indian Starter option and is loved by all. Making Paneer tikka at home is a serious task but this one is worth the efforts and fool-proof recipe of Restaurant Style Paneer Tikka. So yea today lets make the best Paneer Tikka ever. This Paneer Tikka recipe is super easy and trust me it tastes exactly like a restaurant one. All you have to do is make a marinate and drop your Paneer and Veggies into it, rest it for a while and grill it in a oven or over a stove or you can always go for BBQ. Lets get started with our Paneer Tikka.
Following is the Recipe for PANEER TIKKA:-
Paneer- 250 gms. (cut in big cubes)
Capsicum- 2 large sized (cut in exact same size as Paneer)
Tomatoes- 2 large sized (cut in exact same size as Paneer)
Onion- 2 Large sized (cut in exact same size as Paneer)
For Tandoori Masala:-
Hung Curd- 1/2 cup
Oil- 1 teaspoon
Ginger-garlic paste- 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder- 2 teaspoon
Corianderpowder- 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder/jeera powder- 1 teaspoon
Dry Mango powder- 1/2 teaspoon
Garam Masala- 1/4 teaspoon
Crushed Black Pepper- 1/4 teaspoon
Black salt- 1/4 teaspoon
Kasuri Meethi- 1 teaspoon
Salt as per taste.
Tandoori Colour- 1/4 teaspoon
Cornflour- 2-3 tablespoon.
1. Mix together all the ingredients of tandoori masala in a big bowl.
2. Throw in all your veggies and mix well till all of them are properly coated with the tandoori masala.
3.Finally add in the chunks of Paneer and coat them well. Now rest these veggies and Paneer to marinate for about an hour.
4. Now take a Skewer and arrange the veggies and paneer on it. Finally grill it on a stove top or in a Oven @200° for 15-20 minutes.
5. Alternatively you can grill it on a grill pan.
6. Serve hot with Mint Chutney and smoked onions.
