BAKED NACHOS WITH SALSA

Who dosent like a big bowl of Nacho chips topped with salsa and generously covered with cheese sauce.Nacho chips are made using Mazie flour as the core ingredient .Generally Nacho Chips are deep fried but we are making a healthier version by baking them.Nacho chips are very easy to make and requires only a few ingredients easily available at home.
RECIPE FOR BAKED NACHOS-

INGREDIENTS FOR NACHO CHIPS: –

Maize flour- 1 cup
All Purpose Flour / Wheat Flour: -1/2 cup
Turmeric Powder- ½ tsp.
Oil- 2 tsp.
Salt and Black Pepper as per taste.
Water as required.

METHOD FOR NACHO CHIPS: –

1.Mix all the ingredients and knead a soft dough.
2. Take small portion of the dough and roll out a half inch flat disc using a rolling pin.
3.Prick the disc using a fork and cut equal size triangles.
4.Bake @ 180°C for 25 minutes.

INGREDIENTS FOR SALSA: –

Chopped Tomatoes- 1 cup
Chopped White Onion- ½ cup
Chopped Capsicum- ½ cup
Jalapenos- 1-2 tbsp.
Tomato Sauce- 2 tbsp.
Crushed black pepper and salt.
Vinegar- 1 tsp.

METHOD FOR SALSA SAUCE: –

Mix together all the ingredients and slightly mash it down with back of the spoon. Enjoy with
your nacho chips.
